This electroformed silver plated Torah Pointer is decorated with an image of the old city of Jerusalem, featuring exquisite details of Jerusalem’s landmark buildings, such as Montefiore’s windmill and the famous golden roofs that gave the city its name, “Jerusalem of Gold.” The image wraps around the pointer in a swirling pattern and has a chain on the top. A Yad (Hebrew: יד‎) (Yiddish: האַנט), literally, “hand,” is a Jewish ritual pointer, popularly known as a Torah pointer, used by the reader to follow the text during the Torah reading from the parchment Torah scrolls.
