This Traditional Ram horn Shofar is hand made in Israel, is half polished and non smelly. Our authentic Shofar is made from a genuine ram horn in natural shades between cream to brown. Please choose if you prefer your shofar more light color or more dark color.
Mentioned in the Tanach (Hebrew for Bible) over 70 times, the Shofar is used powerfully as an instrument of God in accomplishing His purpose.
In the Scriptures, the word shofar – שׁוֹפָר first occurs in Exodus 19:16 when the Torah was first given to Israel – Shavuot (i.e., “Pentecost”): “On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud shofar blast”קל שׁפָר חָזָק מְאד”, so that all the people in the camp trembled…. And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder.” This shofar blast is sometimes called the “first trump of God”
