Psagot’s Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 displays rich red and dark forest fruit aromas. The barrel aging in small French oak barrels gives the wine additional firmness as well as a vanilla and spicy overlay to the fruits. The wine has mouth filling tannins and finishes with a hint of very enjoyable cedar wood spiciness. Psagot’s Cabernet Sauvignon pairs nicely with roasted meats, stews, robust pasta dishes or can be enjoyed on its own. This wine is very approachable now and should develop nicely over the next five to eight years.
