This elegant set by artist Yair Emanuel features a tallit, a kippah and a matching bag.
Made out of cream-­colored fabric, this set is embroidered with a beautiful pattern of circles and Stars of David, in many different shades of blue and turquoise. The tallit features the Star of David embroidered on top of the cream- colored fabric, and displays four stripes that decorate the tallit in shades of light and dark turquoise.

The tallit also displays a sentence in Hebrew, “…asher kideshanu bemitzvotav vitzivanu lehitatef betzitzit”, meaning “Go­d made us holy. The kippah has the same color as the tallit, and is adorned by the same Star of David texture. The matching bag has a large stripe with textures of circles and Stars of David, all laid on top of the same cream­ colored fabric.

Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel’s work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio. The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
