These gorgeous pieces make a wonderful addition to Rosh HaShana dinner or any other holiday or festive dinner table. Serve with beauty and elegance! The spoons are decorated with pomegranates and hammering, shaped from laser-cut aluminum with a nickel plated hammered stamping. The fork features the outline of a pomegranate at its top, while the spoon complements it with a full pomegranate, showing its many seeds. Jewish tradition teaches that the pomegranate is a symbol of righteousness because it is said to have 613 seeds, which corresponds with the 613 mitzvot, or commandments, of the Torah. For this reason and others, it is customary to eat pomegranates on Rosh Hashanah. Moreover, the pomegranate represents fruitfulness, knowledge, learning, and wisdom.
