This beautiful dreidel is both decorative and functional with the stand offering a place for the dreidel to rest upright while not in use. The dreidel has the traditional shape and is decorated with pomegranates metal cutout and the Hebrew letters Nun, Gimmel Hey, and Peh, an abbreviation for the Hebrew statement “Nes Gadol Haya Po”. The phrase means: “A great miracle happened here” in English.

Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors, as well as a mixture of the old and the new, characterize Emanuel’s work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio.
