“Ani L’Dodi…” is the most well-known sentence from Shir HaShirim, the “Song of Songs” written by Shlomo HaMelech (King Solomon). This book of the Megillah is written as a beautiful, romantic declaration between a wife and husband, as well as being an allegory of the eternal love between the people of Israel and G-d.
