This gorgeous Menorah features the Jerusalem Cross carved on its stem. Designed in silver with a beautiful color, the base has a three-platform square shape with the words “Jerusalem” and “Holy Land” inscribed. The branches have a wondrous work of scrolling lines and support the seven beautiful silver candle holders.
The Menorah is the only symbol the Creator designed Himself (all other “religious” symbols are man-made), and is said to symbolize the burning bush as seen by Moses on Mount Horeb (Exodus 3).
It is described in the Bible as the seven-branched ancient “lamp and stand” constructed and used in the portable sanctuary created by Moses in the wilderness and later used in the Temple in Jerusalem.
Exodus 25:31 . . . “You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece” . . .
Exodus 25:32 . . . “And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side.”
The Jerusalem Cross is a Christian symbol that consists of four small crosses that fit into a larger one and is also known as the Crusaders’ cross. The Jerusalem Cross is full of meaning and symbolism and represents Jesus’s command to spread His words over the globe, a legacy that began in Jerusalem.
It is said to also represent the four evangelists – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John – with Jesus as the central cross, expanding to the four corners of the planet.
Another meaning relates to the five crosses symbolizing the five wounds Jesus receives on the cross, with the larger cross representing the spear wound on His chest.
The Jerusalem Cross can also be used and referred to as the New Jerusalem Cross, due to the Divine restoration of Jerusalem.
This gorgeous Menorah is a marvelous idea for a housewarming gift and can also be a wonderful treat for your own home!
